Dr. Jami Hansing
Doctor of Chiropractic
DOT certified Medical Examiner
Dr. Jami was born and raised in Iowa where she graduated high school in 1988 and went on to get her radiology license in 1991. She then moved to Rochester, MN to further her education in Radiation Therapy at the Mayo Clinic. The harsh winter months drove her to Phoenix, AZ where she worked as a therapist full time and did some x-ray on the side. While she loved the heat, she took lots of trips to the mountains where she learned to ski and enjoyed to outdoor adventures like hiking the Grand Canyon, camping, and rafting the Salt River. Nine years later, she found herself wanting to go back to school. With some encouragement from her awesome chiropractor, Dr. Patti Lehew, who always made her feel better, Dr. Jami looked into chiropractic schools around the nation. Finding Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa lead her back to her roots. She attended a Homecoming event in 1999 and knew that was what she wanted to do to further her education. She graduated with her doctorate and bachelors degrees in 2003 and joined her husband, Dr. Scott in practice in Montana in the fall of 2003. Together, they have been running the 2 offices and raising 2 amazing children, Jade 15 years old, and Steele, 10 years old. Dr. Jami enjoys skiing, camping, and mountain biking with her husband and kids and also likes to run and do some crafting in her spare time.
Dr. Scott E. Hansing
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Scott was born in southern Idaho and grew up on a small family farm. He graduated from high school in 1988 and went on to graduate from Boise State University with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. He spent several years as a personal trainer before choosing to advance his education. While considering physical therapy, a severe low back injury resulted in several years of pain and dysfunction. Multiple specialties including therapy were not able to provide any improvement until he finally agreed to be treated by an acquaintance who was a Doctor of Chiropractic. It wasn’t long before he started demonstrating significant improvement leading him to choose a career in chiropractic. Dr. Scott graduated Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2001 and started Intermountain Chiropractic in Helena, MT in 2002, Dr. Jami later joining in 2003. He has served as past president of the Montana Board of Chiropractors as well as serving on the board of the Montana Chiropractic Association. He was awarded Chiropractor of the year 2012.
Dr. Scott enjoys an active lifestyle outdoors including mountain biking, snowboarding, and hunting. He volunteers with a local mountain bike organization advocating for trail access for all non-motorized user groups.
