Dr. Nolan is a family and pediatric chiropractor passionate about helping kids and parents thrive through better nervous system health. While many people think of chiropractic care as being about back and neck pain, Dr. Nolan focuses on something deeper—how the nervous system functions and how that impacts growth, development, behavior, and overall wellness.

In his practice, Dr. Nolan works with infants, children, and families who are looking for natural, proactive care. Many of the families he serves are navigating challenges like stress, sleep issues, sensory concerns, and developmental delays, and are seeking a different approach—one that looks beyond symptoms to the root cause.

Using advanced nervous system assessments and gentle, specific chiropractic adjustments, Dr. Nolan helps restore balance and adaptability to the body. His goal is to help every child reach their full potential and to support parents in creating a healthier, more connected family life.

Dr. Nolan believes that when the nervous system is functioning at its best, kids can grow, heal, and thrive the way they’re designed to.

Melissa Plocek D.C.

Location: Helena
Dr. Melissa Plocek was raised in Hartford, SD. Her father is a chiropractor and she grew up getting to see sick people get well in his clinic. This inspired her to pursue a career where she could also impact the lives of others. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree and then her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in 2011 from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.

She graduated with honors and was nominated for the Philosophy Award. Dr. Melissa is extensively trained in the Gonstead, Activator, Thompson, Diversified, and Upper Cervical techniques. Upon graduation, Dr. Melissa and her husband, Dr. Nolan purchased a practice in Montrose, CO where ran a highly specialized upper cervical practice. After practicing for almost 9 years, they decided to move back to South Dakota to be closer to family. It didn't take long for them to miss mountain life, so they relocated to Helena, MT in the winter of 2020. Dr. Melissa is also a certified yoga instructor and has served her patients with yoga therapy and proper movement pattering. She is passionate about treating patients as a whole and has completed her certification in Applied Kinesiology and will complete her Functional Medicine Certificate and Diplomat in Clinical Nutrition in January 2024. As cooking and recipe writing is also a passion, in her free time you can find her either in the kitchen experimenting with nutrient dense foods or exploring the outdoors with her husband and two young boys.
